Accra Names Bonnie Hays to Board of Directors
Hays brings 25 years of healthcare sales and marketing leadership
MINNETONKA, Minn. – Feb. 17, 2022 – Accra's board of directors elected Bonnie Hays as a new member, effective Jan. 1, 2022. Hays is the Delegated Vendor Oversight, Enrollment, Electronic Data Interchange, and Coordination of Benefits Manager at Hennepin Health Plan in Minneapolis.
"COVID drastically accelerated the pace of change in the homecare sector," said John Dahm, Accra's president and chief executive officer. "Bonnie is well-positioned to provide oversight as Accra transitions from a focus on social services to facilitating a broad range of health care services in the homes of Medicaid recipients. I am thrilled she joined our board and is committed to our vision."
Hays has held a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles over more than 25 years with Hennepin Health Plan. She previously served as Consumer and Provider Services, Pharmacy Operations Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.
Hays has been a member of the Hennepin County Gerontology Alliance, the Health Plan representative to Minnesota's Senior Health Options Marketing Advisory Committee, and an executive board member and co-chair of the Minnesota Council of Health Plans Communications Committee.
Hays earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communications from Concordia College, Moorhead, and a Master of Business Communications from the University of St. Thomas.
